You're a Goucher graduate, and your connection to your Gopher home never has to end! The CDO is one way to stay connected to Goucher - whether you are seeking a job, applying to graduate school, or ready to offer advice and support to the next generation of Goucher students.
Below are some ways that you can connect with the CDO based on where you are in your own professional journey.
How the CDO can assist you
The CDO is pleased to assist alumnae/i in a variety of ways. Depending on where you are in your career journey, we can help you to discover the resources best suited to supporting you in your job search, graduate school preparation, and much more. We welcome you to schedule an appointment (in person, phone, or skype) by calling 410-337-6191 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
How you can assist Goucher students and fellow alumnae/i
The Goucher Alumni Career Coaches Program is filled with a number of options to work with Goucher students and help them in their transition to life after Goucher. Please do not hesitate to contact Casey Miller, Assistant Director for Alumni Career Programming, with any questions about this program.
We also encourage you to join the Goucher Professional Network on LinkedIn. The GPN is Goucher's online professional community, connecting alumni, students, parents, faculty/staff, and friends of Goucher. The CDO utilizes this network to teach students how to use LinkedIn, connect students and alumni, and for office outreach.
Throughout the year, the CDO coordinates programs to educate students about career exploration and job search preparation. We offer events such as our business etiquette dinner, career panels, job hunting workshops, and networking receptions. If you live in the Baltimore area and work in a field of interest to Goucher students, we may contact you to ask for your participation in one of our events.
